【bLack EYE in GEISAI Gallery】について
明日、GEISAI Galleryでは、［bLack EYE in GEISAI Gallery］を開催致します。

本企画は実は、2011年3月11日の、
東日本大震災で中止となったGEISAI#15に端を発します。
本イベントのプロデューサーBAKIBAKI氏は、GEISAI#15に於いて、
［EyeRhyme X11 feat.麹町画廊 in GEISAI］という
GEISAIにストリートアートの文脈を持ち込むイベントを企画しており、

震災でGEISAIが中止となった事で搬入前日であったこのイベントは、
お蔵入りとなってしまいました。
然しながら、氏の執念と持ち出しにより、
［black EYE in GEISAI Gallery］というイベントに形に変えて、
この度GEISAI Galleryでの開催が実現致しました。
今回の2人のプロデューサー、bakibaki氏と沖冲氏は、
かつて、GEISAIの、いち出展者であった経験も有り、
GEISAIを卒業した2人のイベントが、
奇しくも２年前の大震災と同じ3月に、
ここGEISAI Galleryにて開催されることとなりました。
そして、今回ライブペインティングをして頂くアーティスト、
DRAGON76氏とINOUE JUN氏を、改めて動画にて紹介致します。
3月9日は、是非GEISAI Galleryにて、
この２人の作家による［今］を、目撃しに来て頂きたいと思います。
The event had been originally planned for GEISAI#15, which was cancelled due to the devastating earthquake that hit Japan on March 11, 2011.
The original idea by the co-producer BAKIBAKI had been an event titled EyeRhyme X11 feat. Kojimachi Gallery in GEISAI in which he intended to bring the context of street art into the fair.

The quake hit the day before the setup, and the event has been shelved ever since.
But BAKIBAKI's passionate persistence and some money out of his own pocket realized the revenge at GEISAI Gallery under the new title black EYE in GEISAI Gallery.
Coproducers BAKIBAKI and Oki-chu have experienced GEISAI as booth exhibitors as well. So there is a context formed here. Two artists by way of GEISAI fairs are organizing an event together here at GEISAI Gallery in March, when the 2nd anniversary of the Tohoku earthquake closely approaches.
We gladly take this opportunity to introduce again the two featured artists DRAGON76 and JUN INOUE who will live paint tomorrow.
Please come and witness the 'live' culture as rendered by the two artists at GEISAI Gallery on March 9.

1976年滋賀生まれ。神奈川在住、1996年にPainterとしてのキャリアをスタート。マイノリティー文化や音楽から受けた影響を基に情熱的で生命力溢れるタッチで作品制作やライブペインティング、CDジャケットやフライヤーなどの音楽関係のビジュアルの制作等を手掛け、国内外から高い評価を得る。特にライブペインティングでは、即興で繰り広げられるダイナミックなパフォーマンスに国内の音楽フェス・クラブイベント、海外からのオファーも多く、今ままでにニューヨーク・ロンドン・イビサ・リバプール・バーミンガム・ケニア・ヨルダン・ジャマイカ等でライブペイントを行っている。また、PUMA・KIRIN・KFCやスペインの住宅メーカーの壁紙のデザイン等、国内外の多数の企業との幅広いタイアップ実績がある。2004年ドイツの出版社Die Gestalten Verlagから出版されたSonic-Visuals forMusic、2005年illusive、2006年Play Loud!!に作品が大きく掲載され、2008年にはドイツのデザイン出版社taschen タッシェンIllustration Now vol.2に作品が紹介される。近年では���屋臼年に南アフリカのジンジ・マンデラ（ネルソン・マンデラの娘）のプライベートイベントに公式招待されライブペイントショーを行うなど、国境、人種、社会的立場を超えたボーダーレスな活動を展開している。

Born in 1976, lives in Kanagawa. Influenced by music and minority culture, DRAGON76 creates art pieces, live paintings, and music related works with a passionate and lively touch that
has earned him a strong reputation domestically and internationally. His dynamic live painting performances are especially popular, receiving regular offers and invitations from domestic music festivals and club events. He has also performed internationally in New York, London, Liverpool, Birmingham, Ibiza, Kenya, London, and other locations. In addition to live painting, he has done wall paper design for several corporatins, including Sonic-Visuals forMusic, Kirin, KFC, and a Spanish housing company. His work has been included in the publications Sonic-Visuals forMusic (2004, Die Gestalten Verlag), Illusive (2005), Play Loud!!!(2006), and Illustration Now vol.2 (2008, Taschen). More recently, he was invited to perform at a private event organized by Zindzi Mandela (Nelson Mandela's daughter) and he continues to develop an artistic practice which goes beyond borders, race, and social position.

INOUE JUN / イノウエジュン
日本特有の繊細な精神性をアブストラクトな線で描き、独特な「間」を作品の中に生み出し、モダンなセンスと伝統的なスピリッツが混ざり合うように、絶妙な感覚が見る者の意識を刺激する。 スタイルが常に変化していく自身の表現は、平面から立ち上がり、ファッションやディスプレイデザイン等、様々な分野との融合が見受けられる。2004年より数々のイベントにてライブペイントを行い、08年にはオーストラリアで開催された「NO COMPLY 08」にて、初めて海外にて作品を発表。10年には、アメリカオレゴン州ポートランドにてQue Houxoとのツーマンショー「花とダイヤモンド」を開催。同年ナイキ本社の壁画を制作。11年日本の美意識をテーマにした「NEW YELLOW」シリーズをメルボルンBackwoods galleryにて開催。アデレード、東京でも同シリーズの展示会を開催。

Jun Inoue draws on a delicate spirituality unique to Japan using abstract lines to produce a distinct sense of "space" within his art. This fusing of modern sense with traditional spirits
results in a unique sensory effect that awakens the viewer's conscious mind. His ever-changing style began with planes and later incorporated various genres such as fashion and display design. He began live painting at several events in 2004 and released his work internationally for the first time with "NO COMPLY 08" in Australia in 2008.
In 2010, he held the two-man show "Flower and Diamond" with Que Houxo in Portland, Oregon. In the same year, he made a mural painting for NIKE headquarters.
In 2011 at Backwoods gallery in Melbourne, he held the "NEW YELLOW" series which dealt with Japanese aesthetics.
Th exhibition later traveled to Adelaide and Tokyo as well.

山尾光平 as BAKIBAKI
1978 年/大 阪生まれ、東京在住。2001年京都にてライブペイント・ ユニット"DOPPEL"を結成。NIKE、SONY、 TOYOTAなど様々な企業とのコラボレーションを実現 し、日本のクラブカルチャーより発足したライブペイントシーンの立役者となる。
2007 年のソロ個展からは、日本の伝統的な様式美、カルチャー、ストリート、ファッション、近未来SFをも串刺しにした様々なスタイルを駆使し、独自の視点で日本のポップカルチャーを昇華し続けている。
主な活動は、京都マンガミュージアムにてフランスの漫画家、故メビウス氏とライブペイントセッション（2009年)、 ZARA渋谷公園通り前にて壁画制作（2009年)、JUNOロンドンにて壁画制作（2010年）、東日本大震災チャリティ・イベント""Ki Zuna" ベルリンにてライブペイント(2011年)などが挙げられ、日本のライブペイント文化の社会的地位向上に向け、"Live Paint DOJO"や"bLack EYE"など様々なイベントのプロデュースも手掛けている。

Kohei Yamao as BAKIBAKI
Born in Osaka / Japan, 1978.
Lives and works in Tokyo
Began work as an artist in 2001 by founding the live painting duo "DOPPEL" in Kyoto. "DOPPEL" later went on to organize collaborations
between underground culture and mainstream corporations like Nike, Sony, and Toyota, becoming one of the fore-runners
of the the live painting scene which is now a staple of Japanese club culture. His first solo exhibition was held in 2007 and unveiled
his wide-ranging style incorporating traditional Japanese motifs and culture, with street art, fashion, and a near-future science fiction
aesthetic into a truly unique style which captures a broad swath of Japanese pop culture. His signature events have included a
live painting session with French manga author M�D)Mbius at the Kyoto Manga Museum (2009), a mural at the Zara store in front of Shibuya Park (2009),
a mural at Juno London (2010), the Berlin charity event benefiting the victims of the 2011 tsunami in Japan "Ki Zuna".
He continues his mission of elevating Japan's live painting culture into the social mainstream through events such as "Live Paint DOJO","bLack EYE" and others.

超 文化系バトルゲーム大会"コマジャンキング"主催 1979年、三重県生まれ。
2002 年、初個展『P』を皮切りに京都を中心に作家活動を開始。以降、いくつかの個展を開催。様々なグループ展にも参加する。
2004 年、個展『あらゆるものに溺れる森』＠トランスポップギャラリー／京都
2005 年、東京に活動の場を移し、ペイント、ドローイング、マンガなど、『絵』を用いた様々な表現技法を試行錯誤し、自身の内なる世界をキャンバスに定着させている。
2007年、京都にてゴウダヨウスケ、ヨシカワショウゴらとともにライブドローイングパーティ『bLack 2 bLack』を立ち上げ、不定期で開催している。この企画では効即性のある音楽と遅効性のドローイングとの新たな融合の形を模索している。
2008 年、自宅ガレージに太田素子と共同でアートスペース『mograg garage』をオープンさせる。アーティストのブッキング・企画などのディレクション、アートマガジン『mograg magazine』の企画、ライター、編集に携わる。
2010 年、個展『THE BEAUTIFUL DECAY』＠ビリケンギャラリー／東京
